Routing tables without aggression would be a perfect start to his re-training. The waiter with the moustache should train the owner as his quality of service would have given a five star rating. "When a place gets three things wrong in one order, and then doesn 't appear apologetic when you call them on it, that 's a red flag. We ordered through menulog: a pesto chicken pizza, a garlic bread and a 1.25L diet coke, as well as some pasta. Issues: Garlic bread didn 't come, drink was pepsi instead of DC, and pizza had large slices of tomato on it, despite tomato not appearing on the menu (I don 't like 'em, I know that makes me a bit weird). Any one of these issues alone is no biggie, but all three together was pretty annoying. I called them up, and their response was: huh, weird, we gave the driver the garlic bread, not sure why he didn 't give it to you; oh yeah, we ran out of DC, hope pepsi is OK; and that pizza comes with tomato, the menulog menu is out of date. In other words, defensive on all three counts. I had to actually prompt them to actually do something about this. They told me I 'd get a discount next time I ordered. Not sure what size discount, though... Pizza and pasta were totally fine ignoring the tomato. Hence 2 stars. My complaint is about the service."

"Haven't been to Jolly for years, and we went back on Friday night, and the foods are still good and friendly services. We missed our fun and lovely waiter Kenny, who has been working there for a long time. Hope he will return soon. Thank you to the owner, who she still remembered us to make us feel welcome and important ."

"I stopped in with friends for lunch and we decided to try a few different dishes and share. There was a lunch special on which meant the dishes we picked were only $10 each, rather than the usual price of $16-$17, so it was exceptionally good value. My favourite dish was the Goddess Salad which had the creamiest Persian feta with lots of dried cranberries and crunchy pepitas on top of mixed greens with a tangy lemon, lime and olive oil dressing. The Margherita pizza was quite a decent size and the crust was beautifully light and crisp. The Mushroom Linguine had a fairly light sauce rather than a traditional creamy mushroom sauce and it was initially a little bland. After a little seasoning with the salt paper grinders on the table, the flavours really lifted and I really enjoyed the dish. Service was quick and friendly too."

"This was probably the best service I ever had. Staff were SO nice and helpful and considerate. The restaurant has such a nice vibe and the food was IMMACULATE. And everything is halal !!!! Legit reignited my love for Middle Eastern food again, like I’ve had too many dry falafels that I thought I hated Lebanese food. WRONG, I just hadn’t had Mezzaterra’s falafel. I wanna gatekeep this place so bad because it’s my new favourite Middle Eastern joint, BUT also please go and eat their food and experience Arab-flavoured heaven. (Plus there were SO many mocktails with such exciting flavours, I had the turkish delight martini mocktail or something and it was divine) Vegetarian options: I’m a vegan and there’s no vegan mains BUT a whole heap of the sides/mezza, I was actually so so full.
