"Our waiter Elliott was amazing ! funny fast and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and cozy reminded me of a classic mob movie old school restaurant..the food arrived fresh and hot. I had the chicken marsala, stuffed mushroom caps and soup The pasta was cooked perfectly lots of mushrooms. My only complaint..every dish was heavy on the salt. The pumpkin cheese cake was to die for!! All in all I 'd return maybe for the pizza which seemed to be extremely popular here. I 'm not sure if requesting easy on the salt is a thing . Unfortunately it left my plate practically untouched the salt was that heavy. Would co.mme back for Elliot and pizza."

"I've been going to Mel's my whole life. It was my father's favorite restaurant. No matter where I go in the world, all spaghetti is compared to Mel's. To me, it is the gold standard of spaghetti sauce. And the roast chicken is perfection."

"Nice place but be prepared to be given a menu with no prices on it. So not sure if they charge new people the same price as they charge their regulars. Very awkward feeling, not sure if we will be returning anytime soon."
