"A real jewel of an Italian place. It's our absolute favorite. This family-run restaurant serves the Italian community with delicious meals from excellent imported Italian ingredients. Real value for money. There are so many dishes we love there, including seafood Pasta Caroccio, Polnta with Porcini and Gorgonzola, not to mention their pizza. Today we have refined ourselves in fresh artichokes lasagna. Superb."

"An international colleague and I went there for a quick dinner. We had the prawn cocktail and minestrone soup for starters, and seared salmon for mains. All the courses were delicious. Service was quick."

"I ll try to be fair even though i felt i wasn’t played fair. I ve visited the restaurant for the first time, while there was an offer 2 pizza or pasta for 1 every Tuesday. I was by myself, so they told me that i couldn’t take it take away and i ve said no problem. I ve ordered one pizza and one pasta and a coke. After a few minutes the service guy which he was absolutely polite told me that i cant have the offer cause i m alone, after contacting the manager. I said that you could have told me before i ll sit and have my order and of course its not written on the website that its applicable to more than one person. Of course its not my style to leave restaurants after i order food and i had the pizza. Pizza regionata was a bit dry and mushrooms wasn’t baked. The 3 out of 5 goes for pizza. The treatment was 1 out 5."

"Visiting Kolonaki Greek Kouzina in Parkhurst, Randburg, is like taking a mini trip to Greece without leaving Johannesburg. The menu is a mix of modern and traditional Greek dishes, and each item we ordered had its own unique flavor. The tiger kataifi was a crispy delight, and the beetroot hummus was a refreshing change with its earthy taste. The hummus, tahini lamb were rich and savory, while the grilled bifteiki was tender and well seasoned. Now, onto the pork belly it was cooked to perfection, tender with a nice crunch on the outside. The roasted cauliflower was a pleasant surprise, light yet flavorful, and the Greek salad was fresh, with each ingredient shining through. The service was exceptional. It was one of those places where the staff just knows when to come around. I barely reached for the water bottle when a waiter appeared, ready to pour it for me. It’s the small gestures like this that really elevate the dining experience. Kolonaki has a relaxed, friendly vibe which makes it a great spot for a casual dinner or a gathering with friends. The staff is attentive, the ambiance is comfortable, and the food is delicious. It’s a place where good food meets good service in a cozy, welcoming setting."

"Good looking venue with good service. The breakfast menu is small but some really good options. The sourdough bread with smashed avo is a winner. The real surprise was the toasted veg, cheese and pesto sandwich which was awesome. Need to go back to try the pastas."

"We ordered a chicken schnitzel and a toasted chicken mayo. The chicken mayo was really good. The chicken schnitzel was a really big portion served on a bed of spaghetti. The restaurant does get a bit too noisy because of the small area. Definitely worth a try."
