"We went in for dinner as I'd seen a review on TripAdvisor saying they were really good and had catered for them with gluten free. I had a look at the menu and it had salads and paella which are usually gluten free but when we came to order I asked the waiter if any of it was gluten free and he replied no all of it has gluten in it. Didn't explain anything else just stood waiting. I decided not to eat there and we has the drink we had ordered and left"

"I am on a trip with my 2 daughters staying in Blanes, we decided to go see Lloret Del Mar (big mistake) and asked the taxi to take us a steak house. He dropped us at this restaurant and that’s where the disaster started. We ordered 3 entrecôte steaks, 2 cooked medium and 1 rare. When the came out they were thick fatty steaks on the bone, not what we expected. The 2 medium steaks were so rare, my daughter sent hers back but I tried mine. When hers came back, it was no better and a few bites into mine it was the same. I was reluctant to send it back as we understood that they felt we were being a nuisance. We sent my daughters back again but said she didn’t want it recooked a third time. I told the waiter that I wouldn’t be paying for the 2 seriously under cooked steaks. Plus they were so fatty we could barely chew them. He said the restaurant wouldn’t accept that. I asked to see the manager and he seemed reluctant to get him but he did. The manager came charging round to our table in the most aggressive manner. The waiter translated for us as the manager shouted and waved his hands around. I said to the manager that he was being so aggressive, I don’t appreciate it so please stop. He kept on refusing to take them off the bill and I said well I refuse to pay. He said he’d get someone and I said that’s good get the police. His aggression was so strong that I finally agreed to pay for 2 of the 3 as I didn’t want my daughters to be stressed any further. He stormed off and the bill came back with the 2 steaks on. We paid and left. This is not aimed at the waiting staff as they did what they could, however, if that manager is only the manager and not the owner, he should be sacked immediately! We felt strongly that the staff were also afraid of him. Long story summed up. I actually give this place zero. Also, lloret itself is what I would call a bell hole. Avoid both at all costs."
