"We stumbled into Osteria Cyrano as travel weary diners with no expectations from this unassuming place in a back street. However, the moment we walked in, we felt an instant warmth, welcoming atmosphere and delicious looking food. "This beautiful restaurant for good food and a great view especially in the night. the prices are not too steep, as other places in the opposite and the food proportion are quite large I was there shortly before dinner (so filled shortly before the place. all in all it is a great place to dinner in lugano"

"Great food and very kind service. The location by the river is ideal for a romantic dinner and even if it could pricier than what is indicated on TripAdvisor, the food is worth every cent. I recommend the macaroni della domenica which was a nice surprise."

"I love Bar Golfo. Whenever I'm in town from work I'll go for my lunches. It's always packed with locals (that's a good sign). Food is good and service is fast, just the way I like it. It's a fun spot for the aperitivo as...well and the view on the lake and mountains is just breathtaking."

"We were looking for an upscale dinner and decided on La Rucola. Made reservations. We were able to park at the hotel which was convenient. As we entered the lobby, we were escorted to our table. Service was polite and efficient. I had a club sandwich and my wife had a tempura coated fish with vegetables. Desert, we shared Black Forest cake. We walked down to the lake following dinner then back to our condo. Well done!"

"We booked our table in advance to make sure that there won 't be any issue. When we arrived, the waiter could not find our name on the list and only after checking it 3 times he managed to find it. Not a great start....We then ordered our food, but the waiter did not actually register it on his device so after roughly 10 minutes he actually came back and usked us again because he forgot about it. Again, not collecting points here. When ordering the wine my s.o. was just given 3 options by the waiter, not even showing her the wine menu. Similar with my beer, I could choose if I wanted to have a lager or something else, and I had a choice between two sizes. Amazeballs. I had no idea what beer I would be drinking and my girlfriend just knew that she would be having a glass of name xy , that 's it. The homemade spaghetti were alright, but not as great as you might expect. Homemade pasta usually oozes freshness and is just a few levels above others. This one wasn 't. As a whole, it was definitely not worth it. It 's alright, but the price would ask for better service and even better food."
