"Mile Time is a relatively new and slightly upmarket place in the Mariscal district. A majority of the dishes seem to be vegan, though there are a number of them that include eggs and some may have dairy, and the menu doesn't make it 100% clear, so vegans are advised to enquire. The very friendly owners speak English, but most of the servers don't (and even if asked in Spanish which of the dishes are vegan, they aren't necessarily sure but are happy to go ask). The menu offers several pages of options — mostly Chinese but with a nod to other Asian flavors and even a couple of Latin-influenced items. The two dishes i tried were tasty and well-prepared. The place seems reasonably health-conscious, though if you wish to minimize or avoid oil, it may require some conversation. There are fresh juices on offer, which i always appreciate. They don't advertise using any organic ingredients (as Quinua and El Maple do), so it might be worth offering the owners some encouragement. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with a large inner dining room and a smaller breezy verandah. At lunch, the place is packed with middle-class locals enjoying the set lunch specials. Prices are a little higher than the local norm (closer to what one would pay in the US), but i found it reasonable considering the pleasant, modern atmosphere and the very kind owners. It's conveniently located in front of the triangular park where Baquerizo diverges from Luis Cordero, and being next-door to a police station can't hurt from a safety perspective."

"All vegan, a lot to choose from. Also have a menú del día. We enjoyed it! You can also buy some products in their store. We would have liked some more spices or a sauce, but maybe that were just the dishes we chose. Would come back"

"I had the Spaghetti corazon de la Tierra made vegan It was good. Would have been better is the food was hot or even warm.. the service was lacking could be cause they wer about to close. So much so that they pull down the doors and did not bother to help pull it up when we were leaving. Though that was a bit rude. Good food though."

"Really nice quiet place. We stopped in for lunch. Shared the hot prawn starter which was delicious. Then had the trout and chicken pasta for mains. Great selection for starters and desserts but we felt the main course selection wasn’t great outside of salads which we aren’t really eating on our travels here."
