"A truly strange experience I sincerely wish I was making this story up. I came here with a few friends to finish off our day at the beach with a drink and some atmosphere. What I got instead was the worst customer service experience...of my life. Some context to preface this review: I was the only one in my party of who came in with the intention of ordering something, and yes, after spending several hours in the water, we were also looking for a bathroom. However, we arrived at an off-hour, when the restaurant was largely empty, and did not try to just walk in and use their facilities, so this should not have been a problem. In addition, we are American. I am well aware of how obnoxious American tourists can come off when they have no cultural awareness. However, that was not the case with us my friends and I were far from loud or demanding. We are all fluent in French and never once spoke to the staff in English. When we first arrived, the waitress greeted us politely and took my drink order. She did seem a bit surprised that none of my friends were ordering anything, but it wasn't that big of a deal. While we waited, however, we decided we might want to share a tapa and debated which one to get. So, when the waitress returned with my drink, one of my friends asked her how big the charcuterie plate was. Her response was a curt We don't have that At this exact moment, a horse-drawn party carriage filled with a screaming, drunken bridal party rolled down the street about feet away. She glared at this wagon of women, and then at us. Rather than apologizing for the unavailability of the charcuterie plate or attempting to steer us towards a different dish, she proceeded to grab the open menu still sitting on our table, slam it down on the table behind ours, and walk away. Like a woman possessed. I really cannot explain this behavior. The mood of our afternoon thoroughly ruined, we sat there in awkward silence, at a loss as to why she was so infuriated. We were legitimately surprised when another employee brought us free water. Two of my friends went to the bathroom while I sipped my drink and fiddled with my phone. The waitress suddenly reappeared in front of me and said, excuse me, that's Euros looking at me expectantly. She proceeded to stand there and stare at me while I took the straw out of my mouth, put my phone down, and fiddled through my bag to get my wallet. I handed her a bill, which she snatched before walking away. A few minutes later, on her way back to the kitchen after bringing something to another table, she plopped a coin down on our table without even looking at us. She never concerned herself with us again. The cherry on top was when a new party arrived at the restaurant and she greeted them with warm smiles and a whole spiel about their daily specials. My cocktail was actually quite good, but this restaurant clearly does not deserve my saying so. I can assure you that the taste that lingered in my mouth was not that of my drink. I have never been treated so poorly in a place of business. If I could give this service negative stars, I would."
