"Pretty solid poke! I've ordered online several times, and they have always been incredibly timely. A wide variety of toppings and fish is always a plus. It is on the expensive side, but this is to be expected."

"Love this spot but 4 out of 5 of the last times I’ve come here they are closed during regular, posted business hours. Often there is a sign with an explanation, but sometimes it’s for a different/previous day when they were also closed. I usually try to call in advance to see if they are open before walking there but it’s rarely picked up. Today I placed a mobile order that was not filled because they were actually closed. This is a big bummer because their poke bowls are delicious and healthy, as advertised. The inconsistent hours are not great, especially for those with limited time for lunch. Offering mobile ordering that they can’t fulfill is a problem. Hope they can work on this."

"I often order delivery from here, and tonight I wore my shorts and sandals while meeting the delivery driver, to get the authentic Hawaiian experience. Everytime I order from here I am super pleased and cannot recommend this place more to anyone. The Kahlua Pork is amazing and everytime I open the box, I swear, I hear a rolling tide. Thank you for the great food!"

"There are a few Hawaiian restaurants spread out in the greater Seattle area, and this one is in closer proximity for those in the north Seattle UW area. Overall, this place is a bit overrated. We went here around 10:30am on a Saturday and there was already a 15 min wait, and it seemed significantly busier when we left around 11:30am. A lot of the seating is closed down, maybe due to waitstaff shortages, with only a fraction of the restaurant in service. We tried the Kanak Attack lunch special and loco moco with hamburger steak. The kanak attack had a variety of meats spam, Portuguese sausage, teriyaki beef, and mochiko chicken, along with 2 scoops of rice and mac salad. I liked the mochiko chicken a lot juicy and flavorful. The Portuguese sausage had a little bit of spiciness although a bit salty. Spam was grilled decently, a bit on the drier side. Teriyaki beef is nothing special, but it was part of the lunch special. The egg rolls are the vegetable egg rolls that are usually present in Chinese takeout. The rice and mac salad were just okay. The loco moco was a bit tasteless with the gravy, and the hamburger steak was a bit on the drier side. We felt a little duped when the menu said the loco moco already comes with egg and hamburger steak, but we got charged an extra $4 for just one piece of hamburger steak. Price wise, the portions are good as 2 dishes were enough for 3 people. However, a good amount of it is because of the rice. We felt a little bit disappointed in the experience overall."

"I came here for a Sunday brunch and really liked the place. We did not have a reservation but thankfully got a place for 2. I took the Portuguese sausage hash which was okay and had a good portion size. It was a wee bit salty for me but otherwise pretty good. My wife took the Filipino bacon and eggs and we really liked this one. The breakfast fried rice was very good and I would recommend trying it out. We also took the malasada, plain. This was good but may try the filled one next time. Service here was good and the staff was very friendly."

"Fast service, generous portions, yummy Udon and fried appetizers. This is where I would go if I wanted Udon. Below is a curry chicken katsu Udon."

"The dagger whip is a must try! Try to order the shaved ice with the dagger whip on the bottom for an additional refreshing treatment. You have a tofu bowl that is really good - the tofu is perfectly seasoned and you can really inform the owner about the quality of food."

"Admittedly, I'm changing my review...I've been coming here since they opened and the food is always good that's indisputable, but the prices keep going up, portions now MUCH smaller it's a normal thing to see but it feels pretty excessive. They used to cover things in sauce, now it's barely there, just a ton of extra lettuce and rice on the poke bowls to fill it up visually, barely any fish, even the pickled veg they put like 4 pcs instead of the normal side they used to offer. On top of it, now they have a POS system where you ring in your own order and it prompts you to tip 18, 20 or 22 . I'm sorry but for what? I am ALL for tipping, but they don't even ring in your order or bring your order to you just put it in a kitchen window and call your name. I'm not into paying an extra $10 15 for that. 2 poke plates, mutsubi and a side set me back $57 the tip which I didn't see how to opt out of."
