"After reading so many good reviews, we were excited to visit Charlie 's Bar Kitchen. My party and I had high hopes, but were disappointed with the food. Went for brunch, but we weren 't impressed. The pros: Nice brick interior with awesome photographsand artwork. The cons: Onto the less positive things...The omelet and egg scrambled were bland and didn 't wow us. We werehoping to have received a crisp mixed green salad, instead, it was wilted. Asked for hot sauce, but it tasted like Buffalo wingsauce. Not enough of a selection on sliced bread (they only serve white. Took a while to get a cup of coffee. I found it oddthat it was brunch and was told that coffee needed to be brewed. Additionally, service could improve as well. Needless to say,we left feeling underwhelmed and would not return."

"We booked a reservation for a late dinner as we were arriving late at the resort. The waiter seemed annoyed with us as soon as we sat down. He seemed further frustrated when we ordered as we didn't order appetizers that he wanted to force on us. When our meals were being served, the waiter stood a few feet from our table, staring at us, making us feel uncomfortable and rushing to finish our meals. It was obvious that he just wanted out of there. That was really unfortunate as it was our anniversary weekend and we were hoping for a nice dinner."

"Went their yesterday for dinner with 6 friends. Fantastic restaurant in both food and service. Service was especially outstanding with a special praise to their sommelier. He is a massive credit to the venue. Great recommendations and wine pairing. Thoroughly enjoyed every dish. I particularly liked scallops and a starter with mushrooms. Highly recommend."
