"We chose Three Blue Ducks because we had not been to the Brisbane establishment and wanted a special occasion with friends we had not seen for many years. When we exited the elevator we were met with an overpowering sewage odour which wafted through the restaurant for the whole afternoon. We were told it was due to low tide on the river and I felt there should have been a plan B to mitigate the impact as it seemed to be a known problem. Three of our party ordered a glass of Australian bubbly and it was specified a number of times we only wanted three glasses. During the meal I suddenly became aware our glasses were being topped up and we had to pay for the bottle. The food and service quality was mixed and despite enjoying the company of our friends the restaurant experience was disappointing."

"Table is broken, felt like we were dining in a ship in rough weather. Think they forgot our mains as we waited nearly an hour after entree . Not so good this time and again staff dont read their messages that they have replied to and accepted."

"Mid week visit for dinner with my wife and a few friends. In preparation for some minuscule proportions I grabbed a decent sized burger from Miss Kays at lunch. That was a mistake. There was a good variety of menu choices all via the now ubiquitous share plate format. Serving sizes were excellent and the quality of the food outstanding. Really interesting and tasty without being pretentious. We polished off a few bottles of SA red... no complaints about the wine. The setting is great and the tables aren't jammed up too close to each other but the real story here is the food. Highly recommended."
