"Still absolutely delicious! We tried their Seafood & Tofu Hot Pot, Seafood Stir fry, and Crab & Fish Mau Soup. The Seafood Stir Fry and hot pot had a fantastic mix of seafood flavors, tofu, and paired excellent with rice; out of both, I would recommend the Hot Pot more since it contained a larger embodiment of sauce and seafood flavors. The crab and fish mau soup was a healthy, ginger laced dish that battled my cold rather well. Although it was in a bowl that didn’t look too big, we were able to spoon at least 12 cups, so it was a very good portion for what we received. The waitress was quick and attentive, and Chow’s, as always, comes recommended! <br>

"Seems dated and somehow feels like it is waiting to die. Kind of dark, foreboding, and in need of a serious makeover.<br>

At lunch you order from a list of preprogrammed combinations. I cannot remember ever seeing a real menu.<br>

The food comes heaped on a plate. It looks like they skipped out on the presentation class in culinary school.<br>

The waitstaff and the cashier seem to be putting in their time waiting for the end of their shift to arrive.<br>

As for the food, it is nothing special. The good thing is that it is served hot, has variety, and comes out in large quantities. At times I have thought that they might want to change the fry oil a bit more often.<br>

If you want quantity and variety this is your place. If you want huge quantities of a single dish try Long Zhu across the street."

"I frequent Asian district every weekend which is why I am surprised that I have not been to this restaurant. This used to be Bambu 's, which I dearly missed. I came in mainly because they have Chinese noodle soup, something that is very popular in big cities like NYC. It is also a good alternative to Vietnamese pho places which are so crowded on the weekend, especially during Sunday lunchtime. Which is better? Vietnamese pho. This restaurant is ran by 2 people, husband and wife I believe so service can be a bit slow but it 's not too busy. Definitely needs a little more support considering it has been opened for 2 years now. It 's very similar to the early phase of Schezuan Story. It 's quiet which I preferred. If you stay there long enough, you can have to whole place to yourself on some days.I came back on a Friday again to try the other noodle soup they have, noodle soup with spare ribs. I prefer the one with braised beef better. They are essentially the same except for the meat. The dumplings are actually pretty good. I like mine with their chili oil to give it a little kick. I had the whole place to myself for 30 minutes before a customer came in to place a to go order. Again, husband and wife are the only workers and they are always in the back. I don 't think I need to mention about the ambiance, 3 words peace and quiet.I came back again on Sunday instead of going to my usual spots because I am a supporter of smaller new businesses especially in Asian District. One thing I am going to criticize is they don 't make certain things on the menu anymore which makes the options even more limited.Took 2 friends with me on a Sunday at 1:45 PM. It was surprisingly busy. All the tables have been used which I 've never seen before. I just came from another restaurant and only did appetizers this time. Got the dumplings of course and tried the beef shanks. Dumplings great as usual. Beef shanks remind me of the meet in a popular Vietnamese dish Bun Bo Hue."

"Every time I order from here I am happy that I did so. My husband and I eat here almost weekly and have been trying to branch out from our Mongolian Beef and hot and sour soup order because it's hard to want to try anything else when it's just THAT good. Everything we have tried has been great, though! We love the wontons, wings, spare ribs, Szechuan beef, Moo Shu Pork, etc. The list goes on and on. Service is wonderful every time too. Always quickly greeted and quickly given my correct, hot and freshly made order. Very nice family business that we will continue to support and recommend to others."
