"About tripadvisor the villagerwirt near bischofshofen tested at a detour.Before: my grandmother was Austrian and from beruf köchin. the gas house made a fresh and clean impression. it seemed like new and was cozy. the staff(Koch chef service) was courtesy and nice. two feeds during first visit, eierschwammerln and cheeses. after an acceptable waiting period: very good and professionally prepared eating, balanced in taste, as I know from my childhood. the wet took our positive echo to the occasion to advertise for the specificity of the house, which, whether of the rise, could only be preordered: kistenbradl. this dish is a combination of sworn pork, spare ribs, kartoffels, tasty, semmelknödeln and warm herb salad with speck, cooked in wood fire.Three days later we sat down to the crates, still and enjoying. it was excellent, the soße a poem.We enjoyed the very good kitchen and the ambiente in the villagerwirt. who is on the road in Salzburger Land, this gas house is recommended. they will enjoy it."

"So, if you just landed or about to fly, this would be one restaurant I would definitely recommend for a mouth-watering Austrian delicacy. Be it in the afternoon with their Buffet (in their Market Place Restaurant) or in the evening with their À-la-carte (in Globetrotter Restaurant) the food is a must try here. They are all over the Salzburg Aiport - be it their Coffee Shop, their two restaurants on the first floor (one of which overlooks the flight landings) or their Terrace Restaurant (Dachterrasse) which is to die for, especially when the weather is good. I have also worked here in the past which is why I'm being able to tell the truth about this place and I'm not being partial at all since I have nothing to do with them as I don't work here anymore.I am a truthful reviewer who wants to help the travelers coming to Salzburg from across the globe.The food is really amazing, especially the Spare Ribs with potato wedges was delicious. And, the Cordon-Bleu which is more like Schnitzel (The Austrian speciality) but I find it much better than schnitzel as its cheesy, coated with some ham. It's yummy with the Preiselbeeren jam. Coming to the cost, it's an average as compared to other Austrian restaurants I have seen which are over-rated. The staff is quiet friendly and the atmosphere is generally very quiet kind of. These are the few things I have noticed and also experienced when visited as a guest. The restaurant is open from morning, probably 7 am but doesn't offer so much in breakfast. Their main concentration is lunch which jam packed coz of people from within the Airport dining in and during the dinner it's quiet peaceful and opened until 9 pm.I hope the review was helpful to the readers.
