"I haven 't had food from here for awhile since I live in Pearl City. So having a craving for their delicious saimin which I had several times before, I stopped there one day after visiting family on the windward side. Well, I was very disappointed after tasting the saimin dashi (soup) which just didn 't taste like before. The soup was dark and tasted like shoyu soup. What happened to the flavor like the old times saimin stand we all grew up loving? That flavor is what keeps us coming back to eat. Just disappointed! I 'm hoping the cooks bring that flavorful dashi back!"
