"Let’s not be mistaken. This is American style Chinese food. Having said that, Chinese cuisine does evolve and adapt rigorously to suit ‘local’ taste buds. Being the pioneer and the oldest in town comes with the benefit of knowing what your non Chinese clientele prefers like portions (Big! , taste (Sweetish but no MSG! and cooking style (nothing too fancy simple straightforward With that in mind we drop by for dinner one weekday evening. No doubt TT is a local institution attracting culinary notables the likes of none other than the late Anthony Bourdain. We order the roast duck, beef hor fun, steamed black bean cod, stir fried greens, sweet sour prawns. As expected the portions are oversized. Taste wise this is not the taste of Hong Kong or Taiwan or Singapore but the food is recognisable although one might question its authenticity. Nonetheless the cooking delivers competency and freshness and perhaps that’s all that matters. The owner and staff are all quite engaging and helpful; satisfying our curiosity with plenty of answers. Most importantly we enjoyed ourselves and left “filled to the gills” so to speak. As always we loved the fortune cookies ONLY IN AMERICA!"

"I like it. A simple place with simple Thai staples made well. It’s not too expensive and has modest portions. The pad kee mau I got was a bit saucier than expected, but still more than decent. The pad thai was good, as apparently was the pineapple curry. Will need to go back when it is busier to see if the food gets better (or worse) at peak times."

"Wow. Unspeakable. In the winter storm on Tuesday to find a family whose willing to open business, I am thankful while all the neighboring restaurants were closed. I came in and they quickly greeted me with a table after checking the COVID-19 vaccine card. I got a glass of ice water right away and they asked if I had any questions on the menu. I ordered General Tso's chicken with fried rice and it came with a small cup of soup. Price was very reasonable because it is in downtown and inflation is occurring. HOWEVER, the portion size was more than what you can get in China Town. I was amazed and it was delicious. I was stuffed with food, and everything was excellent. Food, service, and employees. I definitely recommend this place. They are an amazing family to be served with great Chinese food."
