"Friends took us to this place which is a bit out of the way but well worth the journey. The location, perched on a cliff top looking out over the sea is perfect and the fort restaurant area has been renovated to ensure quality prevails...throughout. There are tables on the terrace many of which give views out to sea and there are tables inside, some of which are by windows also providing stunning views. Virtually all the outside tables were reserved but none used throughout our stay. Service here was excellent and the best we've experienced in Goa. The menu was interesting, if somewhat limited and pricey. This is quite an exclusive establishment and the next time we visit, I think we will dress more for the occasion as we were wearing casual tourist wear, which felt a little out of place with all the well dressed people taking lunch around us."

"Французы срулили и оставили вахту Мэту из usa и его жене из бангладеш. Готовят сами. Готовят намного веусней, чем местные в своих шеках. Есть оригинальные рецепты салатов- нам очень понравились. Курица вкусная- нормальная ненамазанная сочная курица. Даже чай с мятой и чабрецом нам соорудил. Хвастался что сам печет хлеб. Завтра поедем проверим."

"I was planning on staying a couple of nights. This turned into over a week because the place was so comfortable, relaxed and accommodating.The staff were very relaxed and friendly.The food delicious. Nice mix of indian and european. I liked there use of herbs.The beach hut i stayed at had everything i wanted, big bed, mosquito net, good sitting area and a bathroom. For a very reasonable price in my opinion."

"I have tryed around 25 differnet restaurants in arambol, the food in arambol is very mediocre. But at arcan you get real, good, well made Indian food. They have cheap beer 80rs for a big and real tandoori. I was here almost every day for 2 mounth.You will not get sick here."
