"First day in Auroville and we landed directly at Marc's cafe for lunch. Having seen good reviews, we gave it a go. FOOD Beet Kvass Refreshing and healthy. Beet based lacto fermented probiotic drink. Different drink and perfect for health conscious people. #WorthATry Ginger...Mint Soda Good flavour but had hardly any fizz and not chilled enough. #Passable Cold Cacao A good choice of drink for dark chocolate lovers. It's made from cacao and quite bitter, if you aren't accustomed to having it. #Passable Paleo Salad A bowl of health and goodness of protien kidney beans, sprouts, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, microgreens apple. #wholesome Cheesy Sandwich Veggies and cheese grilled sandwich is the most basic dish, that I didn't expect could go wrong in a cafe but it did. It was served alongside some salad which was very fresh and healthy. And that apparently was the highlight of the dish. #avoidable Pesto Pasta Linguine pasta in pesto sauce is my all time favourite. However, this seemed like instead of pesto, a paste of crushed Tulsi leaves was tossed with the pasta, with no hint of pinenuts or walnuts. Portion size was more than enough for two. NUTSHELL REVIEW Overall, we were disappointed with most of the food and beverages ordered. One thing that stood out was the Service! We had to request modification for the Pasta and Cold Cacao and they did it with a smile on their faces and that was the best part about visiting this cafe."

"I wasn't expecting much at first, but the place surprised me. I love the food and the ambience. This place was just beautiful, especially during the day with the bright colors and greens, how remote it was and you just let everything else be forgotten and enjoy the moment."

"This was my first stop after reaching Pondicherry on my last visit. I got off the bus and my friend insisted on going here for breakfast. It's in Auroville and quite a distance from the bus stop. We took a car (where the car apparently looted us from a crowd of whips). This place is right next to Tantos which is very popular and discovered by a friend purely by accident as Tantos was closed and suggested to us. It's an open cafe with nice seating to even spend the morning reading a book and sipping hot chocolate. We ordered chicken sandwich, tuna sandwich, cheese omelet, chicken and cheese omelette, iced tea, and hot chocolate. <br>

The sandwiches were out of the world. The chicken omelette was delicious and the cheese omelette was decent. Iced tea was refreshing and felt natural compared to processed ones. The hot chocolate was little disappointing and felt like boost in diluted milk. <br>
