"We enjoyed breakfast here along with a nice chat with the owner. The owner used to live in inner Melbourne and moved to Bright 5 years ago to start this café and he's done a great job. The interior is nice, spacious, bright and on trend. His coffee is really nice and he explained the blend/coffee and how he uses filtered water as it makes a difference to the overall taste - after the build up, yes it was a nice coffee. My husband had poached eggs on sour dough, whilst I tried the poached eggs with gluten free bread which was served with a potato rosti, beetroot puree, sautéed spinach and avocado - yum!"

"This little café at the top end of Ireland St is hidden away upstairs. We found it by chance in 2015. Wonderful food and quality coffee. Prices are reasonable and service was friendly. The café has a wonderful atmosphere."

"They kicked us out and it could have been handled better. Instead of acknowledging their fault, the waiter tried to blame us.So the 9 of us walked in for dinner around 7 or 8 pm during Saturday long weekend. The waiter did NOT asked whether we had made a booking or not, led us to a table of 9 and we sat and reading menu. About 10 minutes in another group of 9 walked in and apparently the table we were sitting in were meant for the new group. I'm a rational person and I don't mind so much the confusion because it was probably a busy time. HOWEVER another waiter had to make it as if we lied to her. She told us when she asked us whether we made a booking, we had said yes. Which is completely untrue because she didn't ask, obviously her pants was on fire and wanted to shift the blame to us. She said she had to let us go because the restaurant is fully booked. Well sorry that I wasn't born with ability to read minds, but according to my restaurant experience, the waiter is supposed to confirm with the customer whether they have made a booking. We were not aware that the restaurant in the areas are mostly fully booked. When we walked in we just asked if you have a table for 9, we did not mention anything about reservations. Next time when this happens, the restaurant should just apologise and let us go, that would be fine. Announcing that we had manipulated her is not, no matter which nationality the customer is from."

"A nice Italian restaurant with good selection of dishes. Food is surprisingly good and well presented. Frank was very accommodating as we walked in last minute during peak period and they’re fully booked but he still found a window to serve us, much appreciated. The service is great. The only area that needs some improvement is to have a better selection of wine. We’ll definitely go back when we visit Bright next time."
