"I have nothing against this place, but nothing has changed since I was a regular here 20 yrs ago. Whilst many other taverns have moved with the times, the Craigie has maintained the original look, furniture and lack of ambience. The staff are wonderful and...work hard. If you're after MASSIVE parmies, greasy burgers and other ordinary food, you'll love it here amongst the wood grain surroundings, high vis clientele and 70s furniture. It seemed some of the customers near us had discovered knives and forks for the first time, and even they were struggling with the size of the meals, taking half eaten parmies home in containers. A great duo band struggled to create atmosphere as the guys and girls on a nearby table took turns holding babies so their backward cap wearing partners could go outside for a smoke. I've had some really good bad guys here but this wasn't one of them. The public bar serves a purpose, but with an upgrade the restaurant could be a really great bistro and a much needed quality venue."
