"The location and restaurant ambience is excellent and this is one of the few places where one can have lunch, as many of the better restaurants only open for dinner. No fancy food at this particular lunch but what we had worked. (tacos, burgers and beer)"

"2022 Update: still amazing and so delicious. Future self remember to try the chiles rellenos on Fridays and everyone thought the enchiladas were the best in town. My favourite place to eat in La Cruz. They make delicious yet simple food her cubana torta is wonderful. Check out the specials they make on Fridays. Ps if you are like me and didn’t practice your Spanish before your trip, don’t worry as the warm and welcoming owner’s english is great :"

"Ana's is an outdoor venue with unassuming decor where you will have a great time while in La Cruz. Enjoy an inexpensive but filling breakfast ( eggs and bacon, hot cakes, French Toast, a large bagel with bacon, egg and cheese) every morning, or be part of a musical party at the end of your day with different bands on different evenings. Ana and Barry are wonderful hosts, and will welcome you like family. Their staff will look after all your needs. At the end of your visit, your "cuenta" will not deplete your wallet. "Masala is my favorite restaurant in La Cruz and one of the best in Banderas Bay. The atmosphere is classy and lovely and the service is very professional and friendly. It's where you go when you have a special occasion to celebrate, want a romantic dinner or simply an excellent dining experience. My friends are always a little surprised when they walk into Masala from the little village road outside. It's like entering another world. Their 'special of the day' , which includes a starter and dessert along with the special entree is always an excellent value as well as delicious. I've had their seared tuna, pasta Alfredo with prawns and an especially tasty chicken breast stuffed with spinach, pine nuts and goat cheese with a creamy sauce. Everything is always done to perfection and the chef takes a lot of time on the presentation as well. My husband is hoping to try every item on the menu while we're here this season. Highly recommended."

"We are staying here and have eaten in the restaurant several times. Everything has been delicious. The staff is great and very helpful. This is not a fast food place. We've sat beside impatient tourists and visitors who are quite demanding. Our response is to...breathe, slow down and enjoy the moment! It's a fairly quiet corner on the beach (quiet being a relative term)! We highly recommend the coconut shrimp and the quesaquilas for breakfast!"

"Sand between your toes, dip in lapping waves pre-meal. This restaurant is located directly on a beautiful sand beach. Get there early so you can get a front row seat we ended up one row back which bugged me a bit (but seriously a first world issue). For lunch we enjoyed whole deep fried snapper - amazing and a seafood soup that contained a whole lobster. We will be returning to this restaurant next year! :)"
