"After a really lovely ascent they reach the relais of the chaseur. this is a true meeting point for hunters in the Swiss canton wallis and they will not be disappointed. wood-drilled meats, including duck, are incomparable, and the assiette valaisanne offers local specialties, such as sausage, dried bark (viande séchée), sink and cheese. today the selections were apricots or pears, each in a crusty crust. local weine are excellent and cost-effective. in autumn you will find local game, all freshly prepared. a word of warning: take the steeper but safer and shorter road from fully. do not take the road that descends over ovronnaz; it is for the greatest part unpainted; narrower; there are missing guard rails, although there is a sheer thousand feet drop at some; go back to certain points, and is much, much longer! when they rise on Ovronnaz road, they go right and down the mountain at the first fork; otherwise they will wind up at a dead end in the middle of the forest and not turn around and I would recommend going in the daytime when they can see the road."
