"We were back in Brisbane visiting our friends and ended up in the Ceylon Inn. Ok, so it was monday night and they probably had the B crew manning the fort, but it the experience (for the price) was less than satisfactory.Firstly, as with a lot of restaurants in Brisbane, we had to compete with the phone orders to get any service even though there were only four parties in the restaurant. Yes, it was me who walked up to the bar and picked up our drinks and took them to the table. Yes, me the impatient diner who had been looking at our drinks for ten minutes while you were on the phone serving takeaway customers.We had the chicken wings and assorted naan breads and dips for entre. The chicken wings were sooo dry we can only guess when they were made, the assorted dips consisted of 2 (two) dips; an assortment of two. Not really a wild and varied experience.We had Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma and Beef Something for main course. Make sure you keep a very accurate track of where you put the dishes on the table as they all look exactly the same. Funnily enough, they all tasted the same. Bland, bland, blah.....yeck.What else can I say. Poor service, marginal food, totally forgettable."
