"Probably best meal out of the year. Location is very good, amazing views and charming restaurant. Really welcoming knowledge staff on the informal side, which is usual in France, but just what I like. Lots of different flavours and textures on each plate of the tasting menu, which as a chef I can get annoyed by. Since I feel fussed up food isn't necessarily... I think a beautiful tomato just needs a touch of salt and sugar and you are done, I don't think a tomato needs star anise and mustard and a buttercup. At Lou Fassum's the flavours and textures all worked well together. The chef is clearly confident enough to not try to hard."

"Danielli is located in the Plan de Grasse, a formerly industrial area that is becoming more and more commercial. We have passed it several times while running errands without even noticing it was there. Yesterday, we found it here on TripAdvisor and decided to check it out. The special was what they called their version of tartiflette. Now, if you have ever had the real thing, this was no comparison. But if you haven't or if you have an open mind, you would taste the most delicious mashed potato casserole topped with lardons and crispy baked cheese. It came with salad, curried carrots, ratatouille, and rather plain lentils, the only thing in the meal that was not absolutely Delicious! The penne with mushroom sauce and foie gras was more typically French and equally wonderful. Prices are reasonable and the service was fast and welcoming. Highly recommend. Open for lunch all week, supper only on Weekends."
