"We arrived at about noon, the waitress welcomed us and at our request she prepared a table on the seasite terrace. We ordered soup of the day, a local fish soup 3/5, as starter we choose Octopus 4/5 and my wife went for the maincourse for the grilled rock fish 4/5, I ordered grilled baracuda 5/5. Dessert: Local beancake 4/5, drinks: green tea 3/5 and espresso 5/5. Note: the rockfish itself was very fine but the kitchen didn't spread out the salt equally over the fish, so some parts were far to salty, other parts were fine. We believe this reataurant is a very good place for fresh fish lovers. The fishermans port is just in front!"

"Went with some golfers to have lunch. A busy place which reflects the regard in which the lace is held. Very good food, service and value. Well laid out a la carte menus and decent wine list. Worth a visit and enjoyed by our group."

"My main thing was that it must be one of the best bakeries in the algarve, now I think it must be one of the best in Europe! it is simply fantastic, the selection of cake and baked just gets better, the service...end atmosphere is amazing. pastelaria helydoce is just a few minutes from the autobahn follow lagoa north signs when they are very worthwhile from the west to the airport to round and buy their rolls and cakes to take home."
