"Just one of the few options in the city, nothing really special. They are known for their pizza, which we didn't try but the proper meal, which was not bad but there was a pile of rice with potatoes and manioc flour as a side...and no beans or a sauce or alike, so all very dry. Service is great, the girls are all very attentive and witty!"

"The food at El Jamiro is ok, not very special. However, they have a happy hour offering two cocktails for the price of one. Also, when you pay you get two vouchers for free caipirinhas for yoir next visit, so needless to say we went back the next day. The second day there was live music which was really cool, but they added a fee for the live music to our bill without mentioning it, so be careful and check the amount on your bill!"

"We visited this cafe looking for a light meal - it was still open at about 10pm and the food was freshly prepared for us and it was delicious!Our Portuguese was dreadful but the owner did her best to help us. We would recommend for a nice chilled eve - not sure how good the coffee is but it looked great!"

"Lovely restaurant with great staff. We were warmly welcomed and served ice cold beer (a must). Had breadsticks as starter and it was lovely, but the pizza was the real highlight. It's really tasty and I'd say it feeds easily. The price is quite...fair. Fully recommended."
