"This is a family favourite and one of the first places we visit when we return to ZLO. Often we are joined by several families. Good food ( nachos, cheese and beans are a go to appetizer) great service (Saul will go out of his way to attend to your needs ) and the view ( especially at night) is alone worth the visit!One word if caution: the Margaritas are deadly, and more than one rookie ( and the occasional veteran) has suffered the consequences of over indulging. Go and enjoy."

"This new little restaurant is an easy walk from Hotel La Posada or Roca Del Mar. It features many items high lighting the cuisine of different areas of Mexico. A friend with us ordered enchiladas with mole (a beautiful dark rich mole) sauce. Our waitress spoke quite good English and said the mole contained nearly 60 ingredients. It was a bit bitter in taste for me but the guys in our group thought it was excellent. We ordered special fruit ades, the first was guava (and was excellent); the second was pineapple (and even better). This would definitely be a "do over" for us. I just hope that it manages to stay afloat (many of the new smaller places seem to flounder and do not have a financial reserve to tide them over during the "off season". Only draw back no a/c and the overhead fans were damaged by the recent hurrican."

"We visit Vito's on a regular basis. My favourite is the calzone. If you prefer other ingredients they are happy to make it. Mine is pepperoni and pineapple - spicy pepperoni with the sweet pineapple ... to die for!! The pizza is also very good. Leave room for some gelato!!! Rosamelia imported the machine from Italy and it's simply the best. The hardest part is making a decision on which flavour to have. Rosamelia is a huge lover of dogs and is thinking of making a special gelato for the fur babies. Mine loves the vanilla!!There are 4 gelato locations in Manzanillo so finding one close by should be easy."

"We've eaten at this little place a few times. The fare is Mexican. This is the only building in the location. There's a mangrove lagoon and a world class beach and this little restaurant. Come for the day, swim in the lagoon (no crocodiles) and eat at the restaurant. You'll need a car or take a taxi from La Manzanilla. Over 20 of us went for the day in Feb. 2013 and they served all of us at once, from a very small kitchen. Fabulous fish! What a day!"

"After we try some fish from our favorite provider, veronica, we decided to try the seafood restaurant on the second level for a late lunch. besides typical fish and seafood dishes, they offer some specialties. one is heavy fish in tamarindo. (below, another is heavy fish meatballs and cartoffels in special sauce, served with rice and salat (delicious! all seafood are very fresh, the fish is taken daily on the boats that the owner actually owns. the staff was very helpful and the restaurant has a great view of the bay of manzanillo. when they wonder how to get there, they simply take the main bvd into the city and they are in the second floor of the same building the sports fishing offices (where they can charter boats for deep sea fishing."
