"If you are looking for a friendly and comfortable restaurant in Morschach, then the Ristorante Pizzeria Betschart is the perfect place for you. The restaurant is located at the end of the village, after the Swiss Holiday Park, at the crossing of the former post office, where the road leads off to the village store, village school and golf course Axenstein. Specialising in Italian cuisine, the restaurant Betschart could be the welcome change for all self-catering flats in Morschach or for guests of the Swiss Holiday Park. Mr Sadikaj, the extremely hospitable landlord, is in charge of greeting all guests and making us feel at home immediately while his wife is already waiting for orders in front of the heated pizza oven. The menu consists of Italian dishes with a large selection of pizzas, pasta, risotto, fish and meat. What I can especially recommend is the penne al tonno with a delicious homemade tomato sauce or the house speciality consisting of 250 g pieces of juicy meat on a hot stone. For children there is even a special menu with children’s favourites such as chicken nuggets, tomato spaghetti or mini pizzas. Apart from the comfortable restaurant itself with the spectacular pizza oven and corner bar, there is also an adjoining separate room decorated with a large painting of the Coliseum in Rome, which is suitable for meetings or private parties. Additionally, an outdoor terrace offers al fresco dining in the summer months.If, however, you are in a hurry and cannot enjoy your pizza in the restaurant itself, ask Mr Sadikaj for a takeaway pizza, he will be more than glad to help out!"
