"We stopped off here on our way to Juist and needed an evening meal. We walked through the centre of Norden and back again but could just as easily have stopped immediately at the first restaurant we came to. Safie's Speicher has class, the decor is rustic understated good taste and the food is excellent."

"We ate lunchtime pizza salami, pizza berlino and insalata di cedtrioli. the dishes were tasty and very large. the prices were reasonable and the service was diligent and friendly. for dessert there was a ball of ice for everyone at the cost of the house."

"Surprised my boyfriend on his 50th birthday to a tea time at Cafe Remmers. We were on a bicyle tour and happened to be in Norden on his birthday. Cafe Remmers was the perfect place to stop for a piece of birthday cake. There...is a large choice of freshly made cakes and the cafe itself is a lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy the afternoon.On a sunny day the terrace outside is the prime spot but have a look through the inside anyway as it is decorated with lots of care and the small shop upstairs has a lovely selection of gifts. The waitress brought my boyfriend 's cake with a candle and wished him a happy birthday as I called ahead to ensure they hadroom for us! A very nice touch."
