"Had its moments, but some areas to work on. A few key dishes are off the charts, but their success is somewhat tempered by how ordinary some of the other aspects. One of my constant gripes with this restaurant (I frequent it regularly) is the lack of cutlery and napkins kept at the table.<br/ <br/ With the entree, I would highly recommend the meatballs (polpette al furno) and the caponata. The other options are not entirely appealing enough to write about.<br/ <br/ The pizza selection is good, with the calabrese and diavola being highlights. The potato and rosemary pizza is also a very good option for vegetarians.<br/ <br/ The desserts are the high point of the meal. The fresh gelati as well as the tiramisu is a must. Any of the specials on offer, such as the pannacotta or torte are also very good. The pastas are also quite nice, with the ragu and gnocchi being the favourites.<br/ <br/ Overall, a good place to dine out, with very good offerings in pizzas and deserts."

"Top Speed Thai is a locals' favourite: we have tried lots of thai places, and top speed is by far our favourite. The menus are great, even simple items like the classic chicken pad thai are absolutely yum. Particularly love the massaman curries and the roti bread are to die for. Great menu, good value - very recommended."

"We were looking for a Japanese resto in Chatswood/Wiloughby area that did more than udon/ramen. Found this one - thanks to TripAdviser! We noted that a review indicated it gets busy - so we booked through the linked dimmi app and, sure enough, when we arrived we saw that most tables already had other reservations. Thanks again for the useful review.BTW, total seating is maybe 40. (Guess from my memory of the lay-out.)We were first to arrive at 6pm and our order was quickly taken. We tried some different dishes - octupus balls and sashimi carpaccio for entree and then tofu teriyaki, wagyu teriyaki udon soup, udon (yes, the kids still went for udon even though we were aiming for non-noodles) and eel. We enjoyed the flavours. I can't say if it was fantastic since we are not Japanese food experts - but we would happily return and try more dishes.The staff remained friendly and helpful throughout the meal, even as it filled up. Clearly a lot of the diners are local. Their dress was pretty casual - as though they just popped in rather than cooking at home. So a good sign that it gets repeat customers. Just don't forget to book. :-)We bought our own wine and had 1 beer - total cost was $125 for all of us. Decent value for the food and service."

"I trusted the review from here. No one said anything bad things about this restaurant so I booked for my boy friend birthday dinner. I ordered two set menu. Unbelievably small sashimi (only 2), one small gyoza for the start, unbelievably small salad, just ONE scallop cut in HALF for two of us, ONE small fish CUT in HALF for both of us, ONE small steak CUT in HALF for both of us, crappy fried rice in the end.... Seriously we thought this is a joke. Such a wasted time"
