"We stopped into this pub because we liked how the building looked on the outside just an old looking building in downtown Owen sound. We walked in and we loved the old school feel. Very cold beer which is what we were looking for we didn't eat here just stopped in for a quick cold beer. It has a cool feel to it."

"We were gifted a charcuterie board by (Toronto) friends. We confirmed our order for New Year’s Eve and added meat to our gift board.Our board was suggested for four people, but with the added meat would have easily served 6-8 people for a special occasion.Please see our photos.We’re happy to recommend and we’ll be back and will consider as a gift in the future."

"Decided to give this place a try based on the recommendation of others. Tried the chicken korma as I'm not a fan of spicy food. This was delicious. The sauce was amazing and big chunks of chicken. Comes with homemade naan bread and rice. The only thing I didn't like was that this was a take out order and they failed to put any cutlery in it. Very frustrating since I was taking this to another location with no access to cutlery. Otherwise, great tasting meal and would definitely return again."

"This is the best Chinese takeout for authentic food. There is a very good selection of items from mild to hot. Staff are pleasant and courteous both on the phone and in person. Easy to get to and quick pick up. Give discounts for cash pmts."

"The place looks nice inside but needs a good scrub and touch ups. You can not clean the table if the edges are sticky for the age of the paint.Nice seating arrangements, suits all needs. The bar area looked exciting the way it was laid out. Service was quite good. Food was just OK. a little high on the price. Drinks were very over priced. Might go again if in the area."

"My husband and I enjoyed a nice evening out. I ordered a root beer float and they even made the mug nice and frosty so the drink was nice and cold. Ordered the flowering onion and it was delicious. My husband had the french onion soup and a beer. We both had the steak special for dinner. Was very tasty and done exactly how we wanted it. For dessert I had a caramel pecan flan and my husband the infamous snow ball. It was all delicious and we left so stuffed. They also had a live guitarist play. Service was great and the waitress very attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening."

"This is a usually good place to go..and still is I guess. The owner has jacked the prices to the point that we don't go as much anymore. Example 9 0z wine is $17 bucks, Inn on the Bay is $12 and just as good. The prime rib is now $35 and $44 for the lg size, trouble is the portioning is out of whack. One day the $34 version is almost the size of the $44 version, and, viceversa, works both ways as I have found. But one thing, the draft beer is outstanding, never flat, and always cold, so I can overlook some of the food problems for a good cold draft. Wings and ribs always good, last week the fish and chips were overcooked, dark brown with a heavy skin on 2 small pcs of fish for $20. But the Covid thing may be affecting with help etc so i am willing to keep trying again."
