"The food was great. Portions were okay. But the service was bad. It took more than half an hour for the food to be served. We waited a very long time and wanted to cancel, but they wouldn't let us. Disappointing!"

"I've been to the other outlet, so compare to the one in makati the ambience here rather different. But still the food taste good. The price also sensible.. we ate sushi set, natto and bento also yakitori with shochu it just cost about 1350 peso. Good price.."

"Our sudden demand for noodles brought us to this local rabenplatz. because it's our first time, we ordered their Tsukumo-Ramen. the warmth of the ramens was right, and the smell of the porridge was really delicious. the Tsukumo rays have mushrooms, nori and two slices of chasu. the size of their normal portion is perfect when they are hungry, but I suggest to order solo or share a bowl if their appetit is not so big. (my friends were not in a position to end her lol). the rarm itself is delicious. the broth had a very rich taste, but a lot of it is nakaka-umay when they finish the noodles first. the chasu (pork slices) type had a bit more fat than what I prefer, but it is still savory.
the ambiente was good that we have a good table. the place was really secret, and the soft Japanese music that played on the background was soothing. the server made the place very welcoming. they will immediately greet them with a energized Japanese greeting. the server were not intimidating, and they always smile. they answer their asking and give good suggestions to try food. there is a service fee, but I think it was worth it."

"Very cozy Japanese cafe offering classic tea standards plus intriguing choices to try. Ice cream, sundaes, sandwiches, pasta, croissants, danish all with a twist. So many things to try and more reasons to come back. It’s no wonder it’s gaining popularity as an alternative place to hang out, study, have meeting and reunions. FYI: been frequenting the place since I discovered it. Tonight (2-18-2018), we had desserts and I thought I’d post some pics."

"After our filling lunch in Ippudo, M, C and I walked around looking for the perfect pair of white clinic / hospital shoes for C. After about an hour we gave up. We opted for a "light" dessert. M mentioned that there is a newly opened dessert restaurant in RP Manila: THE DESSERT KITCHEN! ???? Everyone agreed to try.

When we got there, M was looking for the raindrop cake, which unfortunately is not carried in this branch. ???? We tried the PURPLE IN LOVE instead. The three of us shared a serving as we were all still fairly full (and to minimize our intake of sweet food).

✔ PURPLE IN LOVE (Php 258) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a kind of ice cream monster type dessert (remember that crowd-pleaser that boomed more than a decade ago?) With shaved ice and toppings. Purple in Love is a grape-flavored dessert - a flavor not often found in desserts in the PH! Grape-shaved ice cream with taro / eubeis mochi balls, rice balls, fresh grapes and grape seaweed balls - if you order this, you can look forward to a sweet treat. I especially loved the seaweed balls because they were like popping bobba, but crispier and firmer! ???? The ice cream mochi balls tasted great too. The rice balls, on the other hand, were a bit damp / too soft for my taste. I especially liked the areas of the shaved ice that had milk - which made the dessert creamier. ???? Make sure to eat this with someone else as it can be too cute! ????

The place is pretty small and I think it would be better if they rent a business rather than having their booth in their current location. A great ambience is sure to do great wonders for The Dessert Kitchen - so the relatively expensive desserts seem to be more worthwhile than they actually are. ????

#EatDrinkSplurge"

"My go-to ramen place. Still the best ramen for me. I like how you can choose how your ramen is to be done, e.g. Spiciness, firmness of the noodles, etc. ❤️❤️❤️"

"For those who dig Maricar Reyes' Choco Liquor Cakes, you may get 'em at Mr. Poon's in Malate.

My homie @Clarissa P ordered two cakes for our first ever long overdue potluck.

Mocha Bourbon. Mocha cake is the most overrated cake variant since time immemorial. This is a staple in every children's party and family gathering I have been to ages ago. Trust me when i say that you will never see Mocha in the same light after you tried this. The texture of the cake is perfect! Soft and cloud-like. The marriage between mocha and my favorite poison is a match made in heaven. The bourbon balances out the sweetness and dem mocha crumbs is adds texture to the already awesome cake.

Choco Liquor Cake. This baby reeks of chocolate perfection. I absolutely love the marriage of the subtle sweetness of the chocolate and the sting of liquor. Now i understand one of my odd foodie cravings - cupcake with chocolate ganache and a shot of Bourbon.

Overall, both cakes are... read more"

"Don't pay with a credit card, they charged twice for one bill. We ate 1015 peso dinner, but I found days later they charged 2030 peso on my credit-card bill. I asked them to fix it by e-mail, but they never corrected."
