"Can't believe the reviews that say best on coast. Saving grace was friendly and welcoming service. Had a very average meal as a dine in experience. Decided to sample takeaway next night - a bad choice greasy, soggy spring rolls and the "Special Fried Rice" was anything but special - it was a tasteless mass of rice with the skimpiest of inclusions - almost needed a magnifying glass to find the other ingredients! So service was very good but not enough to make up for poor food which after all is the main game!"

"I visited Lily's on the Lagoon on a Sunday night for a work function. The location is beautiful, being right on the water. The food was very nice, with the main meal being the stand out - chicken breast covered in a creamy sauce and served with asparagus and mashed potato. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! In terms of service, the one thing that could have been improved, was the attentiveness of the staff. Our table was only asked for drinks twice the entire night, so we regularly had to get the staff's attention to order drinks. The only other thing that was difficult, was the fact that guests had to walk along a long wharf and decked area to get inside. The wharf and deck were made of planks of wood that were up to 10mm apart, and besides myself, I witnessed three other women get their heels stuck in the gaps. I found this quite odd as being a reception venue, you would expect guests to be wearing heels, which made it quite dangerous."
