"Popped into the Irish rover for a few drinks after dinner last week. We had so much fun and were so impressed by the band that we had to drop in again tonight. The lads played a brilliant set and encouraged everyone in the pub...to make the most of the night despite the current situation (I'm sure there was a tape measure out at some stage to ensure we were all appropriately socially distant). Really a brilliant spot, will be making the Irish rover a regular visit when in the area"

"Lovely staff, girl on the street showed us the menu and was not one bit pushy. The waiter was very kind as well. Food was ok. Not bad but nothing outstanding, One thing that put us off was we were in the porch area and there was customers smoking. This is completely alien to my kids so they felt ill from the smell. Not the resturaunts fault but something for customers to be aware of."
