"First day I went to the place I had my meal at the restaurant. Services was just ok not great comparing to Montreal Cora. Then one day I happened to take out and was disappointed how it was when I opened the package to eat....Was the worse I had. Never will I take out."

"I like Eggsmart anywhere, but this location is a great one if I just want to be alone for breakfast. The service was great and they left me alone, respected that i wanted to just be alone and eat breakfast."

"Utterly disappointed--can't even give 1 star but no choice. WORST restaurant experience ever. Usually very careful trying a new place--most reviews positive; perhaps new management? Came for brunch with fam of 16. Egg shells in food, cold coffee, no bananas, no hair net on cooks, no music/ambience, funky musty smell. Service took forever, meals came with incorrect items as they ran out (could've told us before we ordered!). Wrap was in sandwich bread, ran out of home fries and white toast!? We were the only customers there and they tell us our reservation was for 12:30 when I even called that morning to reconfirm it is 12 since I made res 2 weeks early and never heard from them. Our whole experience felt like a bad dream! Do NOT eat here!"

"My buddies and I came here for breakfast on Saturday morning around 8am and the restaurant was half full. We also noticed that 3 or 4 tables in the back corner had reserved signs on them. Shortly after we sat down the people with the reservations started sauntering in. I ordered the 2 eggs, bacon with home fries and rye toast. It came with bottomless coffee. Most of the breakfast restaurants are hit and miss around Richmond Hill but Allencourt has always been good. Will definitely be back more often."

"I've passed by this place multiple times, and never ventured in until today. While the price of the noodles seem a little higher than other places, the dishes are substantial in size, and I'd dare say that the quality is much better than Congee Wong next door. I didn't get the overwhelming MSG that I would get from other establishments. We ordered the 'Heung Ha Jai' vermicelli which had pork and dried fish. Very nice combination and seasoned really nice. Not salty at all! We also had some fried buns, and a couple of rice noodle dishes (one soya sauce fried and the other was XO sauce). We also had a spicy beef slices, and while tasty, it did not deliver the spice at all. All in all a good experience with quality food and ingredients.Sat next to the cutlery station, and it got really loud at times. Place is small, but noise level is a bit overwhelming."

"The owner (I assume) and staff were friendly, and recommended mild dishes as we have small grandkids. We tried a appetizer platter, green mango salad, roti curry beef, Indonesian fried rice, Penang Char Kuay Teow, and Singapore Laksa, and liked the roti and Char...Kuay Teow the most. Cash only plus service charge, but service was good and the place clean. Would recommend if you like Singapore-Malaysian food."

"Father's Day dinner. Found live cockroach on table, probably came with plates, as it was not there in the beginning. Quietly notified the manager (not a waitor) he just looked at it, picked it up with napkin and there was no acknowledgement or apology at...all, and he just walked away as if nothing has happened. What kind of restaurant manner is this?"
