"We love this hotel. The staff are very nice, and the hotel is very clean. It appears to be a favourite of many people who return for their holidays each year. It is walking distance to the main street, and centrally located on the beach (near a good spot for boogey boarding). It is best to stay here only if you have minimum amount of knowledge of Spanish, as this is not a hotel for English speaking tourists. We like it because it is not filled with ex-pats."

"We were here a few times, great atmosphere and food. Right on the beach they throw a spotlight over the water at night, they can't miss it. Your house is fish fillet parmigiana with a sweet chili sauce, delicious. And it comes with...Caesar Salat who rivals the best returners. The fish and chips are very unique and naturally also very tasty. Will definitely come back next year."

"Very popular restaurant near the beach in Guayabitos. Huge plates of food coming out of the kitchen. I had a mushroom chicken burger that was bigger than the bun. Delicious hot fries and the ribs were tender and succulent. Packed with Canadians and expats."

"We've eaten here a couple times and quite enjoyed it. Once was the annual Thanksgiving dinner (American Thanksgiving) with the full turkey meal and a predominantly American and Canadian clientele. The second time was lunch mid-afternoon, when it was quiet. Both times were good and...I must add that El Rodeo has one of the best flans (creme caramel) in the region. The other is Irma's in La Penita."
