"Harbour alive with tourists so a walk up the hill to a quieter area for a beer. Small roadside terrace..nice cool beer. Had a look at the blackboard to see what type of tapas was available...we were intending to eat nearer the citadel. What a surprise. Ordered tortilla with seafood filling, patatas bravas, sea urchin, fois gras with bellota ham, elvers, duck breast as tapas and gambas as a racion. Local girl married to a catalan, extremely helpful and friendly, explained the dishes to four large Scotsmen and they just kept the food coming in proper tapas style along with the drinks. All of the dishes were superb and as good as any I've had all around spain. The "french tapas" with fois gras was genius and the star. The chefs are genuine masters of good tapas, as well as being spanish. Our hostess happily chatted for 10 minutes about the family and their food whilst we paid the bill. 99euros fed four gannets and included four beers coffee and a pichet of rose'. Only recently opened but deserves to do well..we wish them well and will be back as soon as possible! Give this a try. Peter greig"

"Breathable frame but few things in the plates, the portions are at the minima and the kitchen more than any, absolutely not tasteful, turbo grilled water cooked, fillets of St stone insipids.....A quick service but we will not return"

"To make a long story short,the food is amazing,the service is very good, wine list is a bit short,but the location for the truffle restaurant is not good at all.Cheap neighborhood spoils the atmosphere.If you are a truffle lover, it's better for you to visit flagship Bruno Campagne restaurant at Lorgues, it is really awesome!"

"I was visiting St Tropez with my daughter who was on holiday.The welcome by whom appeared to be the female owner/manager was cold and with attitude when we asked if we could order and her abrupt reply was 'I will send someone over to you' even though service was coming to an end and there were only 4 people in the restaurant. We eventually had to call the waitress (Claudia) over to ask to order who was not the slightest bit interested and we were left wondering why she is working in hospitality. It did not improve as my sardines were completely dry and over-cooked and it was spot the moule in the shell for my daughter as they were so small. Made worse by we paid for a main course and received a starter portion."

"In addition to enjoying an exceptional view, we had the opportunity to taste an incredible wolf prepared under our . accompanied by rice and a seasonal veggie wook, our taste buds were filled throughout this evening. regarding the quality of the service, despite the late time of our arrival, the servers welcomed us with a smile and a good mood. If you are passing on the port of st tropez do not hesitate to take a tour in this restaurant."

"Aloï is a Thai restaurant where all products are fresh. the map is not very important but ample enough to find its happiness. Whether it's shrimp noodles and chicken or a kind of chicken broth with green or red curry sauce and coconut, everything is good. The server is very kind and smiling. the plates are copied; 2 children can share one. the coffee is ground in your eyes a very good address in a small alley in a quiet and close to the center."
