"This restaurant was pricey and a bit nouveau. I had the nine cocotte starter which is a kind of mushroom and egg pate followed by the dorade royale. This was a bream fish dish but I dont know why it was royale. My friend had...mille feuille veg dish which she enjoyed. A creme brulee was also good but this was not a veggie friendly restaurant as advertised on tripadvisor."

"It is best to eat a good crêpe rather than a bad paella. This restaurant is very good. I don't remember what I took in the evening, but the simple sugar pancake was excellent because both mellow and a little crispy. The young man who served us was really nice. I even left something for him, which I don't usually do. On a week we went there twice.Eating in this restaurant at noon makes it a better value for money (the menu is 3 euro more in the evening)."

"In saintes marie de le mer several restaurants are closed for winter holidays, so the selection is not great. the restaurant is located in a good location with many nearby parking spaces and a beautiful view of the sea. two of us had the...guardianne de taureau and one had the salat chèvre chaud. the portions are generous and they were delicious, but not exceptional. our biggest disappointment was the service- it started well, but then became very slow, even according to French standards. we had to literally start going to the door before we got our bill. we have been disappointed."

"Stumbled into this restaurant for lunch after a day at the beach unfortunately without reading reviews prior! We went for the set 3 course lunch meal which seemed good value. As the restaurant got busier the staff couldn't cope and didn't look like they wanted to be there, slow service.The starter of small whitebait type fish wasn't very warm and they were chewy. The main course was a fish gratin which although did have a good amount of fish in it the cheesy sauce was just too rich you couldn't eat very much of it. The desert was appalling supposedly Crème Brulee, looked like it was curdled and had been sat out in the sun, and the portion was laughable about a teaspoons worth!This is the worst restaurant we tried in Saintes Marie they need to pull their socks up to compete with many of the other great Restaurants there."

"It is a small tapas bar and a restaurant outside the main tourist area of the Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer that we found by chance while we were looking for a place that was not touristic. we love the local when we travel. the tapas menu is excellent and very suitable for shared grazing. Strawberry soup was divine. the tempura mussels made the soup flow very close. the eggplant cooked with honey was... well, delicious. It wasn't a diet-watcher lunch, but who goes to the camargue (or anywhere in france) to monitor its diet? We were the only strangers in the small restaurant. we sat in the back yard (joliment stained with dish shade and a shade canvas) and were served with attention in a combination of English and French. the wine of the house (we are red drinkers) was great. The espresso was a success. And the bill was very manageable. a wonderful experience at all points of view and one we highly recommend. Don't worry too much during our next visit!"
