"Really enjoyed our meal here. We had dithered where what to eat tonight and settled on this creperíe saladerie. We started with a shared salad Triskel salad with cooked chicken) and then each had a galette one “Norvegienne” smoked salmon spinach) and the other “Popeye” ham, spinach egg). Very yummy yet light sustaining. We then followed with a Soeur Suzette and Belle Ile. All in all, a very pleasant relaxed evening with freshly cooked food and friendly, polite staff."

"12,80€ got us a buffet of starters with an assortment of salads, followed by a plat du jour, cheese and dessert. We came on a Monday and the main courses on offer were either filet mignon, andouillette or lasagne. Wine is also included in the price.Service was incredibly prompt, friendly and accommodating to special requests. The food was nothing fancy but simple, honest home-style fare that hit the spot.Come here for something truly authentic and none of the touristy dining."

"Since we first discovered this restaurant in the parking area of the recently modernised Leclerc supermarket in Saumur, we have been back four or five times. Don’t be put off by the outside, you will love it!The staff are delightful, the décor inside is beautiful, reflecting a cheerful, light and bright environment. We immediately contemplate spending a long time over lunch and we are not disappointed. The fresh seasonal simple dishes are delicious and beautifully presented.It was not a surprise to learn it is owned by Daniel Haudebault, proprietor of the popular Bistrot de la Place, in the shadow of L’Eglise St Pierre, Saumur."
