"The Cafe Brant is located in the Neustadt district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is a nice café to just have a coffee, sit and read or have something from the menu. It is casual but elegant food with white linen tablecloths and white linen napkins.... Always a good start! The lunch menu gives you the choice of beef, scallops or fish. We had the salmon and the St. Jacques Scallops and Prawns. Both dishes were well presented and had a good taste without additional pepper or salt. Dessert for us was coffee and vanilla ice cream that was delicious."

"The food was ok although we were only able to order a pizza because at 13:30 they had already closed the kitchen and would only run the oven. The pizza itself was good under tourist standards. If you are looking for a real Italian pizza you'll be disappointed though. The prices are not too expensive: a pizza margherita costs 8 euros.The younger waiter was nice and attentive, the older seemed to be rather grumpy and annoyed with any new order. His smile was as fake as a snake in the grass. At some point he would start shouting something to who-know-whom in a very unpleasant way.This restaurant is just not worthy the visit considering the great number of good restaurants in Strasbourg. Go find something with more flair and better service."

"Our first evening in Strasbourg, we were tired after a long overseas flight, long wait in the airport, and a further TGV trip to Alsace. We were lucky to find this restaurant with room at an outside table for dinner for the 5 of us - 3 adults and 2 small (and overly exhausted) children. We had 3 different kinds of beer - dark, honey, and white - and were all satisfied with our choices. We also split 2 tartes flambées and a large salad. The tartes were among the best we had during our 4 days in Strasbourg. Our waitress was extremely helpful and spoke a fluent English she'd learned in Iowa and wanted to practice with us. All in all, we were happy with our first real meal in Strasbourg."

"End of March 2019, I had dinner at the Restaurant Pont des Vosges, Strasbourg, France. This was a very nice experience. The menu had an excellent selection above and beyond the usual Alsatian choucroute. The wine selection was exhaustive and provided a very mice selection of French and foreign wines. Service was very good an the waiters made one feel at home immediately. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very welcoming. All in all an excellent experience of French cuisine!"

"Beware: I got incredibly bad food poisoning from this restaurant. The food was not good The service was horrible. We contacted the restaurant directly and were ignored. I could go on and on about the ambiance lacking, or the horrendous service from our waiter......The worst service we 've ever had in our entire lives (waiter named Houman?? , or the discombobulated, cold, and tasteless food. I have so much to say about this place and not one thing is positive. Please save your money, time, and go elsewhere. My husband and I travel often and we wouldn 't even eat here again if the meal was given to us for free. As for the service, there was one tall gentleman with buzzed hair on the bottom and the rest of his hair in a ponytail. He was the highlight of the meal. Our waiter Houman was the worst we 've ever had in our entire lives! We asked him after appetizers to please watch out for us more and refill our water, clear our plates, ask if we are enjoying our meal, etc. He sarcastically said ok , and we never saw him again. He didn 't come back to our table once the rest of the meal! We 've had much more stellar service from a food truck. We have eaten at Michelin restaurants and I 'm shocked that this restaurant is even in the same league. It has actually made me question the validity of Michelin stars and I 'll be writing directly to them."
