"If you drive by too fast you will miss it. It is in a small shopping center in this newly developed Suburb of Torreon. Two minutes away from the Soccer Stadium. Their main attraction is their 2x1 sushi roll, which they offer Monday through Friday. They also have special deals on combos on Sunday. I have been to several locations of this growing chain and you cannot go wrong if you want delicious and fast served rolls. They might not always have wasabe so I always carry my own when I go there. Their staff is friendly and their location is clean. Beware, since it is a small inexpensive place they do not have air conditioning, which came be daunting during the summer heat, nor do they have heating during Winter. Their location is an open air restaurant. Also, Friday and Saturday nights could be a long wait since a lot of people order take out and delivery."

"It was pretty full when we arrived for lunch at about 2 p.m. at Restaurant Martins Hidalgo (Av. Hidalgo #70, Col. Centro, Torreon, Coahuila, C.P. 27000, tel. 716-3003, e-mail: [email protected]). We went to the part farthest from the door where there were empty tables. Our service in this area was okay. It kind of looks like a Howard Johnsons in decor.The restaurant was having a 50% discount for ladies’ lunches on the Thursday that we went. Audre had a mixed salad that cost a mere M$36 after the discount. Dimitri had what he thought would have a light lunch because the menu called his item “pescado light” (M$132). It was a big order. We wanted to try what the menu called “café Mexicano” (M$15) and it wasn’t special—just coffee. We had one coffee ice cream made at the restaurant (M$28) that was okay. We spent M$231 and ate too much."

"El titulo lo dice todo. Hay que esperar para que te den mesa al menos 10 o 15 minutos (Si te va bien). Hay que esperar a que te traigan la carta. Hay que esperar a que te traigan la comida...Solo son chilaquiles...que tan difícil puede ser? Aqui se esmeran para que tu visita dure mínimo 90 minutos. La comida está bien, pero al menos para mí, esperar tanto para comer chilaquiles no vale la pena.Inténtalo bajo tu propio riesgo!"
