"The restauerant was empty when we passed it, but we decided to try it anyway. We had their Dom Luis cod special which did not dissapoint us. It was a well balanced dish with a perfectly cooked cod. Dessert was a very standard crema leite and a sub standard pudding. Worth a visit."

"On our first day/night in Praia Miramar (Miramar Beach) just south of Porto, a restaurant called Dom Mariscos, was recommended to us by our gracious Airbnb hosts, Rita and Sergio. While the restaurant is known for seafood I just couldn't resist getting the tripe prepared in the traditional Portuguese style with beans and Linguica sausage. It was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. We also had some sautéed octopus prepared in a light egg batter that was equally good. On top of the food being perfectly prepared and delicious, the service was top-notch. We received table-side service on a rolling cart and our food was portioned with precision by our server. Something seldom seen in the states anymore. Additionally the restaurant itself was beautiful.We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we went back again a few nights later. The menu is pricey but well worth it."
