"The family ate in the hotel bistro on Saturday night and enjoyed every mouthful. While they were not overly advenurous (schnitty and chicken dish), they cleared their plates and spoke at length how enjoyable it was. However it was the salad and veg bar that won the highest praise. All the normal veg favourites enjoyed at home served to perfection. Prices were not overly cheap, but normal for hotels these days. Plenty of seating area and there seemed also to be a number of groups enjoying special occasions. Well worth a visit."

"We have travelled half way across the country and finally found a great Chinese restaurant. The food was excellent. The kids loved every dish we chose."

"I wouldn't normally review a fast of joint, but this was particularly terrible. I walked in and there were two people in line ahead of me. It took forever for them to be served. It seemed the one person serving was also packing food, and doing it one order at a time. There was only one person on the tills, although there was another staff member standing around seemingly doing nothing. The one bloke doing tills took and order, then rushed around trying to fill it before serving anyone else. When he eventually came to serve the person in front of me, there was not 'sorry for the wait', just a 'who's next?' and a 'what do you want?' There was no engagement with the 4 people waiting ( a few more had come in). No 'I won't be long, sorry for the wait'. Then it seemed someone behind the fridges slammed their finger in the door. That was understandable, but they kept yelling for the whole 10 minutes I was waiting. Not crying, just occasional outbursts. There were staff laughing and throwing things behind the divider, and a couple of staff that I could see just sitting doing nothing. The yeller seemed to be making the most of it, too. She seemed to be making sure everyone in the restaurant knew she had hurt herself, and that she wasn't going to do anything about it. I don't mind a wait if it is busy. It wasn't. I don't mind a longer break if there is some acknowledgement. There wasn't. I don't mind people crying out if they hurt themselves. I do mind I they keep yelling and no one does anything. I don't mind if you have only one person on tills, if you are short of staff. You had one standing staring at screens and several on breaks. I assume."
