"Have been looking forward to this for a long time since getting a voucher as a gift. Instead of having the champagne we decided on a mock tail which was really lovely. Food was brought out a little later. Whilst it was delicious, I found...it disappointing that there were only a few items made freshly. Basic pies and pastries that can be bought at a supermarket and only two small savoury bit that were quite basic. For the price that was paid, I think the quality of the food should have been much higher. Tea had to be requested and was not bottomless as stated. Tea leaves were not enough for the pot so tea was weak. No cutlery provided either. For a supposedly good hotel this high tea was not of the expected quality or value for the price."
