"Shabu Shabu Paradise is a classic, traditional Shabu Shabu restaurant the way it?s done in Japan. Don?t come expecting AYCE, or flavored broths?it?s plain boiling water and meat/veggies. The meat is consistently good ? lean but tender, and portions are decent. The veggie platter could be heftier but you can ask for more of those. The shrimp salad with wasabi miso is my kind of appetizer ? delicious, but tiny ? but only $4."

"Came here tonight for some late dinner. I was blown away by the authenticity. Speaking with the waitress and mamasan, they are from Thailand which was cool to relate with them as I have been there myself. They were very personable and friendly. The food was fantastic and tasted just like Thailand. We had two plates of padkimau and an order of steamed dumplings. Tasted great! 10/10"

"This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We went with another couple who eat there frequently. For appetizers, they ordered the lettuce wraps basil style and we ordered the Thai dumplings. For the main course, they always get the fried rice. My wife ordered the panang scallops and I chose the yellow curry with chicken. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was one of the nicest I've ever dealt with. She kept telling us to take our time and enjoy our meal, and offered suggestions about what to oreder. She stopped at our table several times to make sure we didn't need anything. At the end of the meal, she told us we could stay and talk with our friends if we wanted. If they had been busy, it may have different. Still it was a nice gesture on her part. Definitely going back again."

"We were in town for the night and not able to dinner with the family as planned. Decided on Thai food. The first two places we checked were much less than desirable. We went to Thai Spoon and were immediately greeted on a table, given menus and ice water shown. The chicken pillow thai and avocado curry w/chicken were delicious, and the service was efficient and friendly. I encourage you to check them and don't go to the other two nearby places."
