"This is our new favorite restaurant in Edmonton. Tasty food and friendly service. The fact that it is vegan is a bonus and non vegans wouldn’t even notice. They have the best Ramen that I have ever had. Can’t wait to go back next time...we are in the city!"

"I think this is one of the better Vietnamese pho places and I particularly like the way how well lit their restaurant is. Lots of windows so lots of natural lighting gives it a welcoming, clean feeling atmosphere. The staff was friendly enough and the pho (P1) was tasty enough but I feel the broth was a little bland. They added lots of green onions though which I like and big helpings of been sprouts and basil! Portions are fair. This restaurant is worth a stop if you're in the area."

Owner/operator Yuksel Gultekin is a master chef and the meals are always delicious. This place almost always is full so it's a good idea to call ahead for reservations. They serve some of the best lamb in Alberta. In the heart of Edmonton's Ice District."

"Food was colorful but had no taste. We treated 2 older ladies to lunch and they were looking forward to Thai food as they do no have this type of eatery where they live. The Special Pad Thai had no flavor only the hot spice taste. The Beef/Broccoli with black Bean sauce was equally flavorless gorgeous to look at but bland. We were disappointed because we have been to other Thai Restaurants where the food was delicious! This one boasts of authentic Thai cuisine, but we were not impressed. The server brought glasses of warm water to begin never offered a refill. Also did not ask if we wanted anything else to drink. We were there about 1 pm nobody else in the restaurant at the time and no one else arrived while we were there."

"This is one of my favorite Vietnamese Restaurants in town. I've been visiting this place for at least 4 years. Service is always great, the people that work here is really friendly. Of course I have my favorites here, every Vermicelli is really good, the fish sauce is tasty, beef, chicken, pork, etc, all is fresh and well seasoned. Grilled beef with rice, pho, vietnamese coffee, etc. The owner is really nice, she will even remember what do you like to order there. Hung Phat Vietnamese Noodle House is located in an industrial area so usually if you go at lunch you will see people from the offices around but If you want to visit them and bring your family, there is tons of space for a group, high chairs and TV can be found here. You can also order to pick up, they always add soy sauce, hot sauce and even sticks if needed. There are tons of parking in front of the restaurant, so that is not a problem. After your dinner you also can walk around as there are few nice stores to check. If you are on the south side and want to try something really close to home made food, I suggest you to try Hung Pat, you will not regret it."

"My friend and I love Vietnamese food so decided to have lunch at Pho Lang as it is next door to my office. We ordered the spicy satay soup, and it was disappointing - very thin, some hot oil floating on top but no other satay flavours. The server's knowledge of the menu was very weak, and when we commented about the soup's shortcomings as feedback for the kitchen, she didn't seem very interested."
