"I was actually walking today, and I had some business to do at a nearby bank. I came here because I knew that I had a coupon for a free quarter pounder with cheese sandwich when you buy one. St $6.00 for the sandwich, you can't knock me for trying to save money. The once change that I didn't like about this location, as well as, several others is the fact that they have moved the self serve fountain drink machine to behind the counter. In years past you could refill all day long- joking of course! The point is I can see how many fast food places like this are cutting corners in order to save money. The quarter pounder with cheese is good, and I will save the second one for later."

"Hidden gem. Everything we ordered was delicious. Garlic, naan, tandoori paneer appetizer, butter, chicken, and okra. Our drinks were refilled frequently. And I really enjoyed the mango lassi with rum. We will definitely be back!"

"Too bad I didn?t read these reviews before ordering food from here. Manager and drive thru staff were absolutely rude and disgusting! They got upset because I didn?t tell them I had a promo code before ordering my food. Really? It takes all of 2 seconds to punch in a code. Absolutely unprofessional. Stay away!!"

"I am an out of towner, this was my first time in this area. I ordered Dinner online while driving down. OMG the food is amazing. I got the Tikki Marsala, which was so flavorful, with large chicken bites. Veggie Samosas were packed perfectly!!!! They had it ready with excellent timing. I will definitely be coming back again. ????"

"This place is very good. Not a 5 but not a 4. Everyone is extremely friendly. The service is great, and the prices are a breath of fresh air in old town Alexandria/DC area. Wife and I just happened upon it while driving home from a movie. The beyaynetu and tibs were delicious. I was hoping to get the little salad part on the beyaynetu, but I think it's because they have a bunch of different options on their menu I may have overlooked it. If this isn't your first time trying Ethiopian food/you've spent some time in Ethiopia you'll find the mitmita they serve to the general public is rather mild (still fantastic flavor). I asked about it and he said they have some of the real deal in the back and to just ask on the next visit, which we will definitely be doing soon. Having said that, the flavors in general are a bit toned down, which really isn't uncommon for any restaurant of this type in the US. Like most Chinese, Indian, Thai etc places in the US. It won't be as hot, the menu items are presented a bit differently etc. That's a very minor thing in this case because. While the meal won't transport you to the shores of Lake Langano it also will not disappoint. I'll likely be updating this on my next visit. I will ask about them preparing the dishes a bit less westernized. All that aside, this place is 100% worth a visit. And, to be honest, if you've never been to Ethiopia/don't have Ethiopian friends/1st time Ethiopian cuisine you wouldn't notice anything. As I mentioned, it's the exact same as when people say they love foods like yumwoonsen or chicken vindaloo but they've not had the opportunity to experience them in their 100% authentic state. "This chicken is something to write home about! In fact, it's something to write a RAVE REVIEW about! We've only ever ordered takeout/delivery, so this is a review of the food only. The chicken is seriously phenomenal. Get a combo of the spicy/soy-garlic and you can't go wrong! The soy garlic is plate-lickin' good. Definitely a household favorite! The beef bulgogi was also excellent, but the chicken is so good that it's hard to choose anything else on the menu!"
