"I really want to like LJ. There are lots of positives. The place is clean and attractive. Prices are competitive. Mostly, they're really cooking their food instead of using food service truck entrees. The veggies are fresh and properly prepared. The variety of dishes offered is great. Unfortunately, all of our meals have been lacking flavor. Thai basil stir fry labeled spicy was very bland and with only a touch of Thai basil. Spicy Chicken and vegetable stir fry came in a totally bland brown sauce that didn't even taste of soy sauce. When I asked for Chinese hot mustard to go with our egg rolls and pot stickers, I got those take out packets of yellow tasteless goo. This is what they hand out in strip mall take out places, not what I expect in a sit down restaurant. I understand it's under new ownership and I hope they'll up the flavor profile, because LJ has so much else going for it."

"Eating good, crazy bartender. I have visited the gold rush once a month or so for almost years. I always sat at the bar and had abram as barkeeper and was always super nice and attentive. To this evening, that is, when I pointed out that he must have inadvertently accused my friend and me of a beer we have ever had. he said very rude with an empty star that he would cover this out of his own pocket now, that was simply unnecessary; we certainly didn't expect him to cover it, just to find out who was around him who had inadvertently accused us and correct it. that was obviously too much annoyed, so he decided to be just an idiot. it is very sad, he was a very nice normal guy earlier, but tonight he didn't even recognize us and was dressed like a tamed ninja who prepared for a schooling. what a waste of a vanderbilt formation (or so he claims) he is obviously bad on controlled substances, and it is tireless to say we will not be back."

"That's the worst mcdonalds in the land I've ever been. the employees are the customers and disobey each other. I myself and some other customers waited for our food to compensate all of us, as never a mcdonald has fallen so far under the expected customer satisfaction. the only part of the restaurant that seemed to work was the trip thru. when we all got on our food on the inside of the customers in the thru running gear top-kierb service. the older lady who packed the food for the drive has kept the young man in a white hemd and tie. no hired wanted to go up to help the customer on the inside. the older lady screamed that we had to use the kiosk. but the kiosk demands a credit card I didn't bring. I am so glad that I was traveled so that next time I come to the city, I will know before the time not to stop. bad service has left a bad taste in my mouth. my daughter said when she asked after jelly, they told her they had given her enough."
