"This place certainly exceeded expectations! Service was quick and attentive. I was really impressed with the collaborative server culture. During our dinner, we had several servers attend to us throughout, which I think is a major reason the service was so great. The food was also a highlight--everything was fresh and full of flavor. The homemade flour tortillas were also a 10. Will definitely be returning!"

"It wasn't overcrowded and there seemed to be plenty of space for everyone there. The Staff did a great job. The Buffet was well stocked with plenty of freshly cooked items. If you eat here you won't go home hungry. And after dinner we took a stroll around to the other businesses to walk off a little of that big tasty meal. I plan to eat there again soon ."

"I cannot recommend Mikado Ryotei enough! I have ordered delivery through Uber Eats prior to ever eating in restaurant, and was always blown away by the quality and freshness of the fish. The wait staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, checking on us frequently. I came to eat dinner with a friend and we were given free soju and desserts, just because. Even if we didn’t receive the lovely free items, I would rate this restaurant a 10/10. The quality of food and people is absolutely top notch. We had the spicy hamachi appetizer, as well as gyoza, the love boat for two (a selection of sashimi and two rolls) as well as a cake for dessert. The yuzu sake was delicious, and is served in a chilled carafe with chilled glasses. The attention to detail to each and every thing is so lovely to see. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, and spacious. It’s great for a special occasion or a casual dinner. An Austin hidden gem for sure!"
