"We made a reservation on a Saturday night for six of us and were taken right away. The restaurant is very small which is fine but I’m going to assume that the kitchen is small too. Like in other reviews that I have read they have a very heavy take out service. Which causes a back up in the kitchen for the restaurant. The pros of this places it is BYOB so that was nice that we could bring our own alcohol. They were understaffed the night that we came and there, there was one waitress for the whole restaurant. Even one of the sushi chefs had to come out and bus some tables and get us some water. The place is so small that there isn’t really a waiting area and the back up line for all the Uber eats people to collect food to take out was nonstop for over an hour and a half. On the flipside the food was delicious we loved every roll we ordered and the dumplings were great. Next time if we go on a Saturday night we will just go after 8 o’clock or we will just bring our own booze and be patient. We will definitely go back again with a very patient attitude."

"The food here is outstanding! The Mongolian beef was tender in a delicious and savory sauce. The dumplings were fresh and tasty. The calamari was fantastic! The four course menu is highly recommended. Can't wait to come back!"

"The food was pretty good, but it took an hour for us to get any of the dishes we ordered. When we arrived for our reservation, there were already 4 tables of which no food had. Once we sat two more tables in 10 minutes. There was a waitress who, in addition to a sushi cook, also managed all takeover orders and worked a person (which we saw) in the kitchen. On the go it was clear that the online orders were preceded by the cartridges in the restaurant. We waited 15 minutes to place our order and didn't get our first dish until 60 minutes after we set ourselves. Overall, the food was good, but the service was abysmal. It is clear that they either make their restaurant cartridges the priority, or they must pay for additional employees."

"Being my first visit to Ruth's Chicago location, I was hoping to be surprised. If anything, it was consistent with the other Ruth's Chris' around the world The wine menu was heavily laden with top end expensive wines while lacking in the lower end name recognizing brands. The Shrimp Cocktail while "good" seemed to be light in terms of the number of shrimp compared to most other restaurants serving the usual five. The Potato Leek Soup was good and the Lettuce Wedge while generous, needed additional Island Dressing. The Filet (while wanting the smaller was served the larger) looked more like a Ribeye than the traditional "Filet". Flavor was "ok". The Blackened Scallops while not defined as Blackened in the menu and seemed to come prepared in the way the chef wanted to prepare them. Disappointing and should have been more defined as a "special". The Shoestring Potatoes while generous were more like grated potatoes very thin shoestrings. Lastly, the Duo of Chocolate cake was slightly over done and more like a chocolate cake than a molten dessert cake. While good in taste, it was not what was expected Service by our waiter, Jordan, was very good. Attentive and ensuring that the guest doesn't need anything. Water glasses were constantly filled If you are looking for a steak place that is consistent from location to location, Ruth's Chris is your McDonald's of the steak world"
