"This was only our first time, but the food was absolutely fabulous!! Extremely fresh! I am well tuned in to the smell of histamines, having lived on the coast for many years and not one note of that when I walked in. OMG! That sushi belt again, fresh fresh! Delicious everything was delicious! We ate so much food and we were very impressed with how fair their prices were.I only gave 4 stars on the service because the young man kept forgetting things and then bringing them much later. That was disappointing. However, he was very nice and apologetic about it There may have been something going on in the back of the house needing his attention that was beyond his control and slowing things down . Otherwise he gave good service and wonderful suggestions.But honestly, I can't say enough about the food. I'm a snob, and it exceeded my expectations.We will certainly be back, and we recommend them to everyone."

"Ahh, the invisible date night. Few and far in between when you have a toddler. For this reason, we carefully select our sites to maximize our estimated time away, free to order icky things that would only throw 2 years old to the dog. Anyway, BarKaya was a shot in the dark for us. We wanted sushi, the reviews were great, and it looked like the right mood for an adult evening. I have to say we did it with this decision. All we drank and ate was STELLAR. We were greeted by a friendly and loving bartender who immediately got our drinks. I had a Chili Limette Grapefruit Margarita (with Tequila and Mezcal!!! and hubby had an espresso martini. Both drinks were made perfectly with a large presentation. We chose to share two sushi dishes, as well as the crispy rice cup and the pig burn ends. I'm addicted to the crispy rice. We just had it two days ago and I would come back today to get it back. It comes with fresh, delicious spicy tuna dipped with a very delicious spicy Mayo. How, literally, this will long and need my hubby to get it for me and secure it to his motorcycle when he is on his way home from his bike night on the road. The burned ends were LIFE-CHANGING perfectly made fat. Sweet sauce with a small bang, slightly caramelized. Yum. The Hot Pepper Tuna and Teriyaki salmon rolls were super fresh and very full. We ordered the two appetizers because we didn't think that the two reels would put a dent in our hunger, but honestly, they were big portions. Only enough to fill you, but not enough to take home and with sushi, that's perfect with me. I don't eat sushi remains. We talked to the owner and he apparently opened another restaurant on the street, so we are very excited to check it out when he does! Can't wait to return on a Monday for their fantastic Rammen specialties!!! Thanks for a nice evening!"

"Nice place to go with kids because they can JR size their otherwise enormous burritos. They have a huge menu with lots of authentic tasting food. It is pretty cheap too and very fast when they're not crowded. No trans fats in their kitchen either I really like it!!"
