"Generous portion and very tasty Korean fried chicken. My favorite is sweet chili fried chicken.<br/ <br/ It gets busy at lunch so the wait is long at lunch time. And they don't open late"

"Got the Vivid special Night Hawk, which consist of spicy fried chicken, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, pickles & mayo. The chicken was nicely done, had a bit of a kick but not too spicy. The cheese was bit powdery. The bun was ok, but it was just a plain hamburger roll, nothing particularly special. Overall ok. The fries on the other hand were great, crispy & moorish!"

"I come here and order take away a lot as the food is good and located near to office. Staff used to be very friendly and helpful however perhaps recently change of staff and it was a bit disappointing. They also changed their menu and removed the single plate which doesn’t work well for lunch take away for one person"

"Had a chicken laksa from the one up on the top level. Food was ready pretty quick. For $12.80 I don't expect a huge laksa, but this was like an entree size. It was tasty and although nowhere near the best I've had was satisfying. I'm sure there would be better value places nearby maybe just outside Westfield on the street."

"Authentic Malaysian cuisine, my favourite traditional Malaysian fair in Sydney. Favourites include the Nasi lemak with chicken curry, char Kway Teo, wat tan hor and mee goreng. Yum!"

"I've been to Chao Ba a few times and always been happy but this most recent visit was disappointing. I don't know if the restaurant has changed hands since I was there earlier this year, but it felt like I was in a completely different place - the decor and menu were unchanged but that's where the similarities stopped.There were only two staff on and one had no English language skills at all, other than to be able to say "I get Manager'. I'm not dissing his language skills here at all. I just felt dreadfully sorry for him, being put in the position of wanting to do his job well and wanting to assist customers, only to have to default to getting the Manager each time because he couldn't understand us. Of course what this did was just slow everything down and create unnecessary chaos with people trying to order drinks and food.The curries were as good as ever (the caramelised pork here is exquisite!) but the starter dishes, usually the signature dishes at Chao Ba, were ordinary, particularly the fried ones, which 'tasted' fried as if the oil hadn't been changed in a while.I don't think the value for money was there on this last visit.I'll give them another chance but if there's no improvement I'll take them off my list of reliably good restaurants in Sydney."
